Anthony Low

Connecticut
Greens Farms Academy

Anthony Low first got involved in community work through the Carver Center, where he helped run creative learning sessions that gave kids space to explore and express themselves. That early experience sparked his interest in creating programs that support learning beyond the classroom.

He later founded AEGIS to close the gap he saw between students' potential and the support they received. What began with small drives and handmade fundraising projects has grown into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that connects businesses, volunteers, and communities to provide learning materials, sports equipment, mentorship, and creative enrichment. His focus is on building systems that remove barriers, one partnership at a time.

Outside of AEGIS, Anthony composes music from solo piano to larger ensembles and has always enjoyed writing. He represented Connecticut three times in the MTNA composition competition, and his poetry, short stories, and personal essays received Honorable Mentions in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. He writes and composes for the same reason he started AEGIS: to connect with people in a way that creates something lasting.
