Our Story
Anthony Low founded AEGIS with a clear goal: no student's future should be limited by a lack of resources or support. After seeing firsthand how gaps in access, he set out to make a difference. Starting simple by running various resource drives and selling arts and crafts projects to raise fundraising money, AEGIS has now taken on a broader purpose, bringing volunteers, businesses and communities together to build sustainable pathways to success for students who have long been left out, not by choice, but by circumstance.
The name “AEGIS” was chosen because it means protection. In Greek mythology, Aegis was a shield, but for us, it just means having someone's back—and doing what we can to help.
