Book Drive

Books spark imagination, encourage curiosity, and help create new opportunities. Yet many students still lack access to books that reflect their interests and potential. Studies have shown that having regular access to books, even in places like classrooms, can help students do better in school. Children with around 25 books in their environment often end up staying in school for about two years longer than those without. Through our book drive, AEGIS is working to change that. We gather and share a wide range of books—early readers, chapter books, and nonfiction titles that help children explore topics such as numbers, science, and the natural world. We aim to make sure students of different ages and interests feel seen and encouraged. If your school or program serves students who need books, please reach out at aegisvolunteers@gmail.com
